Editorial policy
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Algebra, Logic and Cryptology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on new significant research results in the field of algebra, logic and cryptology.
The journal's mission is to provide an opportunity for specialists to exchange ideas and research results, as well as to support the integration of researchers in the region with each other and with the international scientific community.
The journal publishes full-length original articles, reviews and short scientific articles in English, French and Kazakh. The abstract of the article is completely duplicated in English. All articles are published with open access to improve their global distribution, allowing authors to retain copyright in their work.
SUBJECT OF THE JOURNAL
* Algebra and universal algebra;
* Model theory, syntactic and semantic properties of logical systems;
* Applied logic, including second-and higher-order logic and their applications;
* Cryptology, including cryptanalysis and algebraic cryptography;
* Computability theory, algorithm theory, complexity theory, and automata theory.
* Coding theory, information security;
* Number theory, graph theory, and combinatorics;
* Related fields, such as algebraic geometry and algebraic topology.
BASIC PRINCIPLES
Articles are accepted in Kazakh, French and English. The abstract of the article is completely duplicated in English.
Copyright materials submitted for publication must meet the following requirements: relevance of the topic, scientific novelty of the research, originality of the research problem and applied research methods, high scientific and practical significance of the results obtained.
All articles submitted to the editorial board are reviewed in accordance with the journal's review procedure.
Reviewers include both foreign and domestic experts in the journal's scientific fields. After the review is completed, the author is sent a written text of the review without specifying the reviewer's last name.
The editorial board has the right to refuse to publish an article based on the results of peer review, inconsistency of the article's material with the subject of the journal, as well as if the quality of the submitted materials is unsatisfactory.
The editorial board is guided in its activities by the principles of journal ethics. Previously unpublished articles are accepted for publication, as well as articles that are not intended for simultaneous publication in other publications.
Articles are accepted for publication in the journal on a permanent basis. All submitted materials must be designed in accordance with the Rules for Authors.
The journal has an open access policy, according to which readers have access to full-text materials of the journal, for the use of which no fee is charged. Use of the journal's materials for commercial purposes is not allowed. Authors are not charged for publishing articles. Reviewing is not paid for.
